An untitled graphic notation meant to be performed by any performer, for any instrument. The score is for Halim El-Dabh, the late Egyptian-American composer who was an early pioneer of electronic music, and our mutual admiration for ancient coptic music notation and synesthesia.
Included as part of the exhibition rooted in at Heavy Manners Library in Los Angeles, CA in May 2023, a group show of mixed media highlighting sonic expressions and visual intimate portraits informed by memory and physical spaces.
